BlackBerry Desktop Software Encounters Syncing Error for Calendar/Contacts Created in iCloud

When attempting to configure advanced sync options in BlackBerry Desktop Software and set up folder mapping for calendar or contacts in Microsoft Outlook created by iCloud, you get the following error:
Runtime error Error Encountered. Error code 0x80043bea. Check documentation "
When iCloud is syncing with Microsoft Outlook, it creates a new calendar and contact list, both called iCloud.  Therefore, Microsoft Outlook now has an additional calendar and contact list.
The new calendar and contact list are part of a new data file with file extension .aplzod.  BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.1 is unable to read this file.
Download and install BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.0, then complete the following steps:
1.  Select Organizer.
2.  Select Configure next Calendar.
3.  Select Advanced.
4.  Select the Folders tab.
5.  Change the default folder you are syncing with to the iCloud folder for Calendar.
6.  Repeat these steps for Contacts.
7.  Click OK.
8.  Click Sync.
