Avoid digital disaster by signing up for free email protection when your network is threatened by a storm this hurricane season. The digital disaster preparedness service is offered by the Florida Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with AppRiver LLC, a Florida-based email security services provider.

What is the "Digital Disaster Preparedness" service?

The "Digital Disaster Preparedness" program is a free service being offered to Florida businesses by the Florida Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with AppRiver. This service will protect and preserve incoming email should that company's email server stop functioning due to hurricane-related damage. Once the email server stops responding, AppRiver will queue the business' incoming email messages until the server is fully functioning or the user requests for the email to be redirected to another server. Available to Florida businesses from June 1 to November 30.
Activation time is typically less than an hour.
Service can be activated when your business location is under an official hurricane watch and is within the 3 or 5 day "Cone of Uncertainty", by filling in the form or contacting us by phone.
Service is available to Florida businesses with an Internet domain name (ex. www.mydomain.com)
Compatible with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, and Novell Groupwise email systems.
